Well said. I think one of the failings is the suppression of debate or discussion at a young age. It is a skill so few have so they know not how to engaged in a civilized debate to advance society
I agree. It's very important to learn how to engage different opinions without taking or giving offense. It's really the only way to examine one's own views.
